Handmade Obi belts are designed to go around your waist twice and can be executed to style a bow either on the side or at the front. An opening on the side allows the opposite end to thread through, sitting nice and flat on your waist. This allows you the flexibility of either wearing it loose or tight depending on your preference. This is designed this way to provide my customers with the freedom to tailor their obi belt to their liking.
