Nineteen69 is a small independent fashion accessories business inspired by the warm earthy tones and landscape of Africa that I incorporate into making beautiful vibrant African-inspired accessories for all.

During my teenage years I struggled to find clothing to fit the length of my arms and legs, my sister is a seamstress and taught me the tricks of the trade that I applied in making some of my own clothing.

I later went on to study for a degree in Apparel Production Development within the Clothing Industry.

As a Garment Technologist fashion is my passion and even more so the construction of the garment, one that is made to last, of good quality, timeless pieces that do not date. All the items are handcrafted using 100% cotton unless otherwise stated.

I believe in sustainability. None of the fabric is wasted, some items are made of fabric remnants from other items and I strive to offer sustainable, eco-friendly packaging for all my products.
